The is factory AC V8 W109, W108 cover only. Will not work on NON AC Cars. If you have two large metal BARS that run on the L and R sides going from the under dash to the transmission tunnel THIS cover will not FIT or WORK. You are looking at a Mercedes Benz Late models W109 300SEL 4.5/3.5/6.3 , W108 280SE/SEL 4.5 V8 under dash heater BLUE padded vinyl covered Large center nice Genuine Mercedes OEM used 1 Cover (Type # 6 / Large padded Late deep grain cover for V8 models / Will not fit cars with under dash metal bars / AC factory cars only). Comes as 1 Cover per sale only.
The cover comes with the two side screws to mounted. This is a used part with imperfections, wear, age and light scratches as seen in the pictures. There are 7 different types of covers and they range in size and material (cardboard or plastic or padded vinyl) in these cars during there life span of W108,109. This cover is the biggest size padded / vinyl cover that came on some late W108,109 V8 models.
1- Type #1 Early models 1965 -1966 and some 1967 large smooth Cardboard for non padded transmission carpet Narrow half moon on the bottom (Non Padded cardboard). 2- Type #2 Mid models some 1967,1968 large smooth or rough texture Cardboard for padded transmission carpet wide half moon on the bottom (Non Padded cardboard). 3-Type #3 Mid Models some 1967,1968 small smooth cardboard for padded transmission carpet wide half moon on the bottom (Non padded cardboard).
These cars have 2 large metal bars under the dash that hooks on the transmission tunnel and it take a special cover for AC or Non AC cars which are specific to these models with these bars (Padded special large cover). 8- Also there are aftermarket cover type which were installed as well.We appreciate you shopping with us and please visit us again!
